We are delighted to announce the successful completion of the 3rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Anandalok Trust, held on 29 June at Anandalok Trust Office, Dhaka.
This important annual event served as a platform to reflect on our achievements, review our financial situation, and share strategic plans for the future. It brought together our trustees, executive and general members, team members all united by a shared commitment.

On November 12, there was held a significant National Consultation on Sustainability of Anandalok Schools, bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders including representatives from corporate bodies, private sectors, civil society, national and international NGOs, as well as print and electronic media. The main objective of the event was to engage the stakeholder and explored new avenues to strengthen the foundation of Anandalok Schools, making them an enduring source of opportunity and empowering future generations. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this crucial event. Together, we are building a stronger future for our children!




Overview
The ongoing flooding in Bangladesh has severely disrupted the education of Anandalok School students, particularly in remote areas. Many families are facing financial crises due to the loss of land and livelihoods, which has made it increasingly difficult for students to continue their studies. Anandalok Schools are primarily located in embankment and char areas, shaped by the Teesta, Padma, Gaurai, and Jamuna rivers.
